General: Fungal infection.

Gross:

Microscopic: Chronic suppurative &/or granulomatous lesions. Lymph nodes may have marked sinus histiocytosis and may progress to widespread nodal necrosis.

Stains: Rarely, may require culture or molecular testing to prove.
