General: Can be used pre or post-mortem. Commonly used in newborn screening.

Can test for:

• Biotinidase deficiency
• Congenital adrenal hyperplasia
• Congenital hypothyroidism
• Cystic fibrosis
• Galactosemia
• Maple syrup urine disease
• Phenylketonuria
